01 / Requirements

Requirements & qualifications

01Currently studying towards a degree or Diploma in Town Planning, Urban & Regional Planning or equivalent.
02Knowledge of town planning principles and practices.
03Proficiency in GIS and CAD software.
04Strong analytical, report writing and communication skills.
05Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

02 / The role

Key responsibilities

01Develop conceptual plans, master plans, and implementation/phasing strategies.
02Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, architects, and environmental consultants.
03Ensure compliance with the Regional, Town and Country Planning Act and local authorities by-laws.
04Prepare planning reports, feasibility inputs, and supporting project documentation.
05Assist in preparation of town planning layouts, reports and development plans.
06Support land use assessments and planning applications.
07Conduct fieldwork, data collection and site analysis.
